Haggai GUTAP is a two time graduate of Economics and he holds a Bachelor of Science & Masters Degrees in Economics respectively both from University of Jos. Presently, he is a Phd. student of Development Economics at the Nigeria Defense Academy Kaduna.
Haggai is a Certified Business Development Service Provider; Small Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) & Certified Microfinance Technical Service Provider by the CBN & NDIC. He is a Member, Chartered institute of Stock Brokers and Associate Member, Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria. He is presently the Managing Partner/Chief Executive of Fingertips Enterprise Development Partners International Limited.
Over the years, he has gathered practical experience in using Cutting Edge Training methodologies for efficient service delivery.
He is presently on the team of Certified Consultants for the past four years anchoring the Microfinance Certification Programme a Central Bank of Nigeria & Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) sponsored Programme.
He has facilitated Trainings and researches at different fora. Among others are: training for World Bank, African Development Bank, and International Fund for Agricultural Development sponsored projects under the FADAMA 2 &3 projects and Rural Finance Building Programme in Nigeria (RUFIN) & German International Corporation (GIZ) respectively.
His areas of core competencies include; Training, Macro Economics Analysis, Microfinance Development packages, Quantitative Analysis, Research, Investments & Portfolio Analysis, Business Development, Retirement Planning and other Pension related matters. He is an astute professional who is a member of different professional bodies in Nigeria which include the following; Institute of Chartered Economists in Nigeria (ICEN), Chartered Institute of Stock Brockers of Nigeria (CIS), Certified Microfinance Training Service Provider and has both foreign and Local training exposures; Microfinance Banking and Development at the Manila University Philipinnes and German International Corporation (GIZ), Business Development, Customer Service Excellence and the Defined Contributory Pension Scheme, Budget and Budgeting.
He is presently the Director General, Plateau State Microfinance, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (PLASMEDA)
